Description

The Biale label consistently makes some of the most sought after Zinfandel and Petite Syrah produced in California. The Biale family maintains strong ties with old Italian families in Napa Valley and helps them carry on great wine growing traditions. They then carefully handle this great fruit and craft very unique/limited production wines; only about 350 cases of each wine, with only about 50 magnums, are produced each year. Pair these wines with robust pasta dishes and roasted meats.

Magnum; Biale 2003 Thomann Station Petite Syrah. John Thomann was Dr. Crane's neighbor and this wine is known for its deep color and wonderful character full of dark fruit, minerality, acidity, and soft tanins. Decant and air sufficiently to drink now or age for 5 to 15 years.
