A major force in the field of illustration and animation for the past forty years,  Blechman’s illustrations have appeared on  19 covers of The New Yorker, as well as  interior pages of Rolling Stone, Esquire,  Harper’s Bazaar, and Fortune. In 1999, he  was elected to the Art Director’s Hall of  Fame. Blechman’s work is in the collection of The Museum of Modern Art, the  Library of Congress, and Chase Manhattan Bank.
