Something to Cherish!  This 5th-Grade-inspired, hand-made quilt reflects the old with the new!  Susan Escobar used actual uniform shirts and skirts to construct this 12 patch quilt reflecting memories from Prince of Peace and Mount St. Michael Schools.  Six squares capture stunning pictures of each 5th grade child and their teacher, Mrs. Niki Matasso, plus a sports square and a copy-in-quilt of “Children Reaching for the Holy Spirit,” the wall-sculpture outside the school!  As a personal touch, the children each signed their names with a little something about themselves on the back!  What a great quilt to decorate a bed, use as a warm throw or, with the attached sleeve, hang on a bedroom wall!
