In celebration of this year's Global Studies theme, Ms. Callard and Mr. Boley's second grade class takes us on a tour of the African country of Tanzania. Inspired by Tanzania's rich, bold art and culture, the children have decorated a wooden cubby/locker using vertical patterns, textiles, geometric shapes and totem designs. This creative cubby/locker, in black with green interior, can be used in almost any room but also serves as a symbol of the knowledge and hard work of this second grade class.
