Description

Sheamus Burns, ABS 1997, created and donated this original drawing to the auction.  Sheamus writes: "The title of the piece is 'Locus Iste a Deo Factus Est,' Latin lyrics which translate into 'this place was made by God.'  The drawing was inspired by a piece of music of the same name by Anton Bruckner.  Incidentally, I was first introduced to that choral work while a chorister at the boychoir. I have sung it many times since and it remains one of my favorite pieces of a cappella choral music."

The work is a drawing done in pen and black ink. The size of the work is 18x24, and the whole piece is matted and behind glass in a charcoal colored metal frame, which measures 20"x26".

This is a Live Event Item.
