"Custom knit lace shawl, stole or scarf of fine merino wool or, depending upon availability at reasonable cost from my suppliers, merino/silk or alpaca, mohair or cashmere blend.  Plant fibers (cotton, linen, ramie, hemp) may be available.  If you select merino or another fiber I can get in white, I can dye to your general specifications (but not match perfectly).  Pattern may be selected from Victorian Lace Today, the current rage among lace knitters, or one selected at your yarn store, within reason.  Size 4 needle limit and 1,200 yard maximum.  This is plenty for shawl of the normal size (e.g., 30" X 80") and plenty fine."
