2006 was a warm vintage. The warm growing season led to quick progression of ripe grapes at the end of September. The resulting wines are full of ripe fruit flavor, concentration, and mature tannins.

Our 2006 Rosé exhibits the ripe and rich fruit that the 2006 vintage offered. It offers a round and full palette, with a refreshing finish. This Rosé is full of fruit, and will compliment any summer activity.

Harvest Notes:

The Pinot Noir for this Rosé was harvested on October 2nd during the cool morning hours.

Winemaking Notes:

This Rosé was made in a combination of two traditional styles; pressing the Pinot grapes immediately and fermenting the juice, and by cold soaking the Pinot grapes for 4 days, pressing, and fermenting the juice. The two separate lots were later combined to make the resulting Rosé.

Tasting Notes:

Lots of ripe strawberries and red cherries fill the aromatics leading into a dense, ripe red fruit filled palette. A soft and round palate leads into a pleasant and refreshing finish.
