Rare Vintage Wine Collection

Item Number: 204
Time Left: CLOSED
Description
This item includes a rare vintage collection of six bottles of 1998 Vérité wines.
Philosophy
Vérité was inspired by the ideal of marrying the classic approach of the French vigneron with the exquisite potential of Northern California fruit. Pierre Shellan brings more than 30 years of experience and intimate knowledge of vineyards and winegrowing to the process of hand-selecting individual vineyard blocks across key growing regions.
These blocks, or micro-cru as Pierre refers to them, were selected based on diverse criteria of soil, climate an aspects specifically for their potential to express a strong sense of terroir, but are more balanced and elegant than any of the individual components might be on their own.
Tasting Notes
What one notices first is the conjunction of concentrated black-cherry Merlot fruit and a texture somewhere between satin and velvet. What one notices last is the broad finish that lingers. The 1998 Vérité can be enjoyed now or cellared for even greater drinking pleasure.

90% Merlot / 10% Cabernet Sauvignon
