This item includes a tour and tasting for eight at the Harvest Moon Estate and Winery.
Harvest Moon is a family-driven boutique winery nestled in the Russian River Valley that focuses primarily on California's own Zinfandel. The proprietors, Bob and Ginny Pitts, have grown grapes in Russian River Valley since 1977. In 2000, their son Randy assumed the farming responsibilities at the family ranch. Soon after, Randy made a barrel of homemade Zinfandel from the ranch that turned out exceptionally well and they realized they had something remarkable growing in their backyard. Although the Estate Zinfandel is their pride and joy, Randy also handcrafts a limited quantity of Estate Gewurztraminer and Pinot Noir.
