To the winning bidder, a private tour and tasting of Schug Wines, at Schug Carneros Estate Winery in Sonoma. Up to twelve persons may attend this private tasting. To add to the flavor of the day's event, your unique tasting experience will be held in the romantic ambience of barrel aging caves. A selection of gourmet cheeses will be paired with these unique wines.

As former winemaster of Joseph Phelps Vineyards in Napa Valley, Walter Schug crafted legendary Insignia and Eisele Vineyard cabernets of the 1970's and early 1980's era, as well as America's first Syrah. He founded his own label in 1980 to produce elegant Pinot Noirs and Chardonnays from the cool-climate Carneros region. Limited bottlings of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Sauvignon Blanc round out the portfolio.
