This beautiful piece of art was hand crafted and donated to our gala event by John Nieman of Greensburg. Intarsia is a unique art form that involves the inlaying of wood pieces to form a larger representation. Literally dozens of hours are involved in this creation, from cutting the wood and finishing it, to assembling the final piece.
In this unique piece there are no less than 8 differnet types of wood represented including walnut, redwood, cherry, maple, red oak, white oak, sassafras and birch. It would make the perfect gift for that special golfer on your list or simply for someone that has an appreciation of the art form.
The piece measures approximately 13" wide by 22.5" tall. The attractive finish and frame will complement virtually any decor!
Special Instructions
This item will be sold as part of the live event but you need not be present to win. Your maximum bid will be used as a proxy bid as directed. Should the winning bidder not be present the item may be picked up in the Hospital Foundation office through April 10. Should shipping and handling be required it will be at the expense of the buyer. Extra handling and insurance would be recommended.
