This framed "She Waits" silver point drawing measures 20" x 28".  Silver point is a lost art dating back to medieval times.  During this time silver and gold were used as drawing tools because graphite had not yet been discovered.  A silver point is simply a drawing done with silver.  Over time the drawing will tarnish as silver jewelry tarnishes, developing irregular dark areas accented with silver.  It is a very unusual and remarkable style of drawing.
