The centerpiece is the Silver Lake Sand Dunes, which consists of 2,000 acres of living, shifting sand, which are an important part of the Michigan State Park system.  These Michigan dunes are towering mounds that are bordered on the east by the crystal clear waters of Silver Lake.  Be prepared to swim, fish, snorkel, scuba, jet-ski, paraglide, water ski, hike or just work on your tan for hours on end.
