Berkeley Repertory Theatre is a regional theater company located in Berkeley, California. Founded in 1968, the company runs seven productions each season from its two stages in Downtown Berkeley. It won a Tony Award for Outstanding Regional Theater in 1997. Its current artistic director is Tony Taccone. Managing Director Susan Medak is the current president of the League of Resident Theatres. Its national reputation draws theatre artists from across the country to work on a variety of productions.
