Description
Originating with the indigenous people of the Pacific Northwest, the totem pole was a symbol of a family's kinship and history. In fact the word totem pole comes from the Ojibwa word "odoodem" (sometimes spelled ototeman) meaning "kinship". Now our tribe of third graders has put together their own totem creations in this beautiful patchwork depicting their Campbell Hall clan!
