Description

Watercolorist, Masae Toma, has won acclaim and recognition with her award winning paintings and calligraphy.  She has studied with renowned master artist and teacher, Chang Dai-Chen (1899-1983).  Chang Dai-Chen is considered to be one of the most versatile and prolific masters who truly achieved the 3 perfections of traditional Chinese painting: 1. Brush Painting, 2. Calligraphy and 3. Poetry

The particular on-of-a-kind landscape painting was created by Masae Toma in her later years. Toma's personal calligraphy signature and unique artist seal is located at the lower right of the painting.  This 23" x 13" watercolor was done on traditional rice paper and is surrounded by silk matting in a traditional wooden Chinese frame.
