Take a docent led tour of the magnificent Bouverie Preserve in the Sonoma Wine Country. This 500 acre property is known for its amazing spring wildflowers. Because of its diverisity, Bouverie Preserve is home to a rich and distinct combination of plants and animals, including more than 130 species of birds and 350 species of flowering plants. Oak woodlands, mixed evergreen forest, riparian, and chaparral are present in this landscape dominated by Stuart Creek Canyon in Glen Ellen, California. Access is extremely limited but you can gain privilege of a tour with a trained docent naturalist and 2nd grade parent Kristen Dowd Addicks. Lunch is included in this enjoyable outing.
