Artist's Statement
Asymmetric gold wire fretworks, that defy their fragile appearance, and evoke mass where there is none, relying on the viewer's eye to visualize the unseen.  Sometimes minimalist, other times obsessive in detail, Jan's creations may transform, engaging the wearer in the repositioning of various components that create new designs, to suite their need and mood of the moment.
