16" x 20" matted.  This photograph will be framed by the artist.  The frame will be crafted from discarded rustic wood from the restored historic Old Faithful Inn, Yellowstone Nat'l Park.

A native of North Carolina, Michael Dark moved to Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming in 2001. With a renewed interest and exposure to wide open spaces of the Inter Mountain West, Michael began taking photographs of the local wildlife and landscapes.  Michael now resides in Bozeman, Montana.  

Artists Statement: Schaubaucher's Landing is a highly photographed area because of the reflective nature of the beaver ponds.  I chose the area to the south with the small tributary of the Snake River flowing in the direction of The Grand.
