The current bench coach for the Texas Rangers has spent over 30 years in Major League Baseball as a player, manager and coach.  He continues to inspire, train and encourage players in the game he loves.

Howe played professionally for 15 years after being signed as an amateur free agent by Pittsburgh in August 1970. He was a member of Houston's first division winner in 1980, going 3-for-5 with a home run and four RBIs in a one-game playoff at Dodger Stadium to clinch the title.

He played every infield position in his career, recording a .980 career fielding percentage.
