Description

Enjoy two bottles of French wine from Chateau Fongrenier Stuart.  The red is a classic Bordeaux-style blend of 50% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Malbec and 5% Cabernet Franc.  Aged for 18 months in French oak in the cellar of the historic Dordogne property Chateau Fongrenier. The result is an aromatic wine with a luminous cascade of black currants and dark cherries in an elegant, classic arrangement.  Drink now or cellar for a few years.  The white, La Tource de Fongrenier, takes its name from a natural spring at the heart of the Fongrenier property in the Dordogne Valley.  Along with this enduring irrigation source, the unique climate and soil together yield supple, fruit forward wines.  The white bergerac sec  bursts with nuanced grapefruit, citrus and floral notes.  Sip or pair to excellent effect with food.
