"Field of Dreams": The White Stockings, The Colts, The Orphans, The Chicago Cubs - Since 1876, The Oldest Franchise In The National League -- thus reads the caption for this collector's sports art poster created by artist Don Lindstrom.  Mr. Lindstrom has personally signed this piece for the Daystar School On-Line Auction.  This art poster is 20"x23" in size.

Don Lindstrom is an artist from Park Ridge, Illinois and he has studied at North Park University, the Ray Vogue School of Design and the Art Institute of Chicago.  He teaches watercolor workshops and also teaches contour-drawing and watercolor programs at Oakton College.

Mr. Lindstrom was commissioned by the Salvation Army to create watercolor images of festive holiday scenes which were sold nationally as greeting cards and are now on display as a permanent exhibit at Chicago Divisional Headquarters. 

Besides his love of depicting Chicago scenes he has also painted Door County, Galena, Puerto Vallarta, and Cape Cod.
