Bienvenue a une grande soiree de degustation de vins de Bordeaux! The PHS Fete de Bordeaux dinner will take place on Friday 1/23/09 at the recently renovated, luxurious One Park Place condominiums. This extraordinary evening for 12 will begin with a festive reception with guests sipping 2005 Chateau Ducla Experience XIII Blanc and serenaded with music by one of PHS's instrumental music groups, led by Steve Dekker.

Michael Turner, Executive Chef of The Classic Cup Cafe, will serve a perfectly paired tasting dinner with a selection of Bordeaux wines from Chateau Cheval Blanc (1981 - 1983), Chateau Haut-Brion (1982), Chateau Margaux (1984, 1986) and Chateau Gruaud Larose (1983, 1986). Dessert will be served with a
2001 Chateau Lamouthe Guignard Sauternes, a "dense, full-bodied" with notes of "honeysuckle, candied citrus" (RP 91). The wine values alone are more than $5,000!
