This mountain getaway is in the city of Truckee which is about 25 minutes north of Lake Tahoe, 35 minutes from Reno, and two hours from Sacramento. It is private, and nestled in the forest, yet close to outdoor activities. In the winter you can ski or snowshoe, and in the summer you can go boating, fishing, and/or golfing. The cabin is 10 minutes from a private beach on Donner Lake and restaurants and tourist activities are only 25 minutes away. The cabin sleeps eight (three bedrooms with two pull-out sofas) and has two bathrooms.
