Wine tasting is the sensory evaluation of wine, encompassing more than taste, but also mouth-feel, aroma, and color. Recently transplanted for more than 20 years in California's Sonoma and Napa Valley wine industries, and President of the prestigious Sonoma County Bordeaux Club, Craig Sherwood will help you create a wine selection and host a private wine tasting  for six in your home. Craig will teach you and your guests about winemaking, how to distinguish and detect the complex flavors and aromas of wines, assess the wines' quality, judge and rate wines, determine the wines' maturity and suitability for aging or immediate drinking, and how to best pair wines with foods. You and your guests will discover the many facets of wine, so as to better appreciate it. Winner is responsible for purchasing the wine and providing appropriate glassware for the tasting.
