Pen was hand-turned on a lathe. The wood is taken from the burled portion of cherry tree. The cherry burl has many small knots which give the pen great contrasts throughout, with colors ranging from light tan to brown. It has a twist mechanism and a replaceable ink cartridge (currently black). A walnut wooden pen case is included.
