Description

Have you always wanted a painting of your beloved pet?  Here is your chance!  The talented Shelly VonGlahn will take a photo of your pet and turn it into a true piece of art.  Versed in a variety of painting styles, Shelly will work with you to get you just what you are looking for.

You can choose the size: 14 x 14, 12 x 18, or 10 x 20.  (to accommodate if you have a photo you want me to use or a space in mind to hang it)  It would be a painting, which means oil, acrylic, or latex paint.  I also do mixed media, which means it can be a little of everything, but still more of a painting not a drawing.  You can also choose if you want it on Masonite board or on stretched canvas.  Masonite board can be framed very easily buy putting it in any regular picture frame.  (no glass, just put it right in the frame and you're done)  Canvas is often hung as-is on the wall with no frame, as it has depth to it.  If you want to frame canvas, it costs more because you have to buy a frame with depth to it that is made for stretched canvas.  But Masonite pretty much has to be framed to be hung, as it is just a panel.

Attached are some images of paintings I have done in the past.  As you can see, i can work more realistically or more abstract.  i can also make it more expressionist and colorful or more graphic and pop-art like.  You can choose the predominent colors used.  It's up to you.

Ideally it's easiest if you have a photo or two in mind to give me.  The more you want to deviate from a photo, the less realistic I'd expect.  (for example, if you give me a photo of your dog in the back yard and want me to make it look like he's on the moon, I could do that but don't expect it to look like a photo. :) )

It is no problem to do a group photo, it could include all your pets but keep in mind the size of the canvas.
