Hand-thrown ceramic redware serving platter by Eric Anderson of Grand River Pottery of Markesan, Wisconsin. The center section of this large rectangular platter has an etched herringbone pattern. The primary color is iron red with a speckled black rim. The foot has been trimmed for table use. It also has holes and a hanger on the back so that it can be hung on a wall for display. Approximate size is 19.50 inches long by 16 inches wide, with a maximum depth of 1 inch.
