This is approx. 12" x 18" large Couroc of Monterey Tray. The tray pictures a wooden inlaid cat wearing a crown inlaid with green rhinestones. The Couroc company is no longer in existence, but these Bakelite/phenolic trays were really popular in the 60s and 70s. The material was touted for being impervious to alcohol, boiling water, and cigarette burns.  This unique piece would be a neat gift for a cat lover!
