Robert Parker - 95 Points! - The flamboyant 1998 Cabernet Sauvignon Diamond Mountain (750 cases of 100% Cabernet made from Lokoya's south-facing vineyard) is a wine of fabulous fruit intensity offering notes of jammy black currants intermixed with violets and minerals. A potential "Wine of the Vintage" candidate, this wine has immense body, great concentration, and gorgeous plum liqueur, cassis/fruit notes that cascade over the palate with remarkable glycerin and richness. Quite an achievement! Anticipated maturity: now-2015.
