One 6L bottle of Robert Mondavi Cabernet Sauvignon 2004.

This limited 6L bottling of Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve 2004 received a 95pt - "classic" rating from Wine Spectator Magazine and ranked #9 in the publication's Top 100 wines of 2007.

For over 40 years Robert Mondavi Winery has produced outstanding Cabernet Sauvignon that truly reflects the unique terrior of Oakville, and the To Kalon Vineyard. We hand-harvested fruit for this wine over a nearly two month period as each block of grapes reached optimum ripeness. The wine fermented in oak tanks, with more than a month (35 days) of extended skin contact (maceration) to extract maximum flavors and soften tannins. After pressing in our traditional basket press, the wine underwent a secondary malolactic fermentation, and then aged a year and half in 100% French Oak Barrels, 75% new, adding considerable power and finesse.
