The founders of Morin-Choinière both studied visual arts—Richard Morin in Quebec City, and Claude Choinière in Montreal. Their association began with a chance encounter. Soon, a friendship blossomed, leading to the discovery of a shared passion that sparked a grand adventure for the two designers. In 1989, Morin-Choinière took flight.

Since then, the two artists have together designed and created an impressive range of glassware immediately recognizable for its refinement and originality.
