Description

CHUPPAH WEDDING I - JOVAN OBICAN Lithograph.

The chuppah symbolizes the home the bride and groom build together, open on all four sides, welcoming the stranger from all directions. "Chuppah Wedding I" is Obican's contribution to the celebration of marriage. The look is colorful, in Obican's unique style, cheerful, whimsical and always joyful. Jovan loved music (although he never played an instrument) and often sang while creating. This framed 26 1/2 x 23 1/2 lithograph, masterfully created from the original painting, from Obican Art Studio of Dubrovnik and Carta Obican Inc, limited to 600 numbered, and contains the pencil hand-signature of Obican.
