Deborah Rubin received a B.F.A. degree at the University of Illinois and did graduate study in painting at the University of Minnesota.  She is represented by Capricorn Galleries in Bethesda, Maryland; R. Michelson Galleries in Northampton and Amherst, and Ginsburg-Hallowell Art Consultants in Boston.  Rubin has exhibited in solo, juried, and limited group exhibitions across the country and has permanent collections in Boston, Milwaukee, Springfield, Washington D.C. and other cities.  She has received honors from the Ridgefield, Connecticut Guild of Artists, the New England Watercolor Society, Valley Women Artists, and many other museums and organizations.  Rubin works from her studio in Amherst, MA where she lives with her husband.
