Gregory Stone is a painter and sculptor from Northampton, MA.  He received a B.F.A. in painting and later a M.F.A in sculpture, both from Boston University.  His work has been displayed in various solo and group exhibitions throughout New England.  He was recently awarded a commission to build the Anne Rights Memorial, a bronze statue to honor Anne Frank, in Boise, Idaho. 

In American Artist Magazine, Edward Feit observes, "Stone seeks subjects at work, in the street, in the park and any other place he visits.  People are Stone's favorite subjects.  He portrays them without flattery or glamour; stressing their dignity and individuality."
