Description

This watercolor is by contemporary artist Pamela Goldberg of Easthampton, Massachusetts and is entitled “Earth Blossom II.”

The piece, created on 300-pound cold-pressed watercolor paper, measures 37 inches tall by 27 inches wide and is attractively framed in maple.

Pamela’s work is about poetic imagery painted in lush color inspired by nature and meditation. The artist says that the painting process for her is a journey toward wholeness, a practice for understanding and celebrating life, and painting as healing is a strong motivation in her work.

The original imagery in Pamela’s pieces comes to her during meditation, and the images evolved during the process of creating the piece. The elements of the cycles of life: gestation, birth, growth, death and the changing seasons are significant in her work, as they are also symbolic of spiritual growth and the importance of recognizing and embracing the truth that we can not have domination over something we are also an integral part of.

This is a Live Event Item.
