This handsome hand carved Sheeshum wood tray and set of coasters was chosen by Amarjit Kaur (Rose and Blue Room) for the CMS auction during her recent trip to India.  It was made in Hoshiapur, India, renowned for its Sheeshum wood furniture and carvings.  The tray is varnished and inlayed with four small brass elephants and a pattern of leaves and vines.  It measures 9.5 x 15 inches and is approximately 1.5 inches deep.  Included is a set of 6 wooden coasters, in a holder which has the same brass inlay leaf design as the tray.  This would be an excellent Father's day gift or housewarming present.
