Description

The artist, Jim Dupler, hand-turned this vase from a Bradford Pear tree that was blown down in a windstorm.  It is pierced with a high-speed dental drill, requiring a steady hand.  The red color is enhanced by utilizing an airbrush technique.  The piece is then finished with a hand-rubbed oil finish.  More information about Jim and his work may be viewed at www.ccagallery.com
