The sculptures of Richard MacDonald featuring circus and performance artists are on exhibit and available for purchase in the newly redesigned “O” Theatre lobby at Bellagio.

The gallery is born out of a relationship between Guy Laliberté, Founder of Cirque du Soleil, and Richard MacDonald, a master of figurative sculpture.  MacDonald feels that he and Laliberté are “similar in life long creative goals.”

The warm blush of the terracotta lends a new softness to the quiet charm of the Angelic Crystal bust. Delicate in mood and feature, suggestive of innocence and natural grace, this youthful ballerina is one of Richard MacDonald's most sensitive works: a sensitivity fully realized in the Angelic Cyrstal, Atelier.
