This seed grown 6” diameter specimen is a hardy cactus.  This “outer space fancy” desert gem continues to have a small diameter with a slow columnar growth pattern throughout it’s life.  Reliably blooms whenever it feels like it and is cheerful with sunny pops of color.  The dark shiny green plant is decorated with little white freckles.  It’s cool tucked at the edge of a planter or boulder that’s often in the homeowner’s view.  It also does well in a container.  Designers and collectors “in the know” have planned this jewel into their landscapes around town.
