Ingrid Pia Control (Part of the Baird Collection)

To the best of our knowledge, this puppet is from the collection of the late Bil Baird. This puppet was purchased either in 1987 or 1989 at the Greenwich Auction Room, LTD in New York, NY, following the demise of Mr. Baird. The appraisal value is by puppet collector, John E. Miller, author of Puppets, The Charm of Inanimate Actors, from the Time Life Series, The Encyclopedia of Collectables.

Mr. Miller’s conclusions were based on the following:

A physical examination of the puppet, a complete review of auction receipts, estimates and actual prices paid, and the international reputation of Master Puppeteer, Bil Baird, making the figures highly collectible, not only in the art and theatre world but in the business world as well.
