Chris Scarborough received his BFA from SCAD in Savannah, GA in 2000. Exhibiting since 2000, Scarborough's work has bee reviewed in ART PAPERS (2006 & 2005) and NY Arts Magazine (2007 & 2006), and ncluded in such surveys as New American Paintings 2004 and 2001 (book #46, #34), among others. He has also had solo exhibitions at Gescheidle in Chicago (2006), Marcia Wood Gallery in Atlanta (2006), and has participated in group exhibitions and art fairs in NYC, Chicago, LA, Washington D.C., Miami, Atlanta, among others. He has upcoming solo shows in 2008 with Foley Gallery (NYC) and Curator's Office (Washington DC). Scarborough's work is part of numerous private and public collections including the Tennessee State Museum, 21C Museum, and the Tullman Collection, and is a recipient of the 2008 Artist Fellowship for the state of Tennessee. Scarborough is represented by Marcia Wood Gallery (Atlanta), Foley Gallery (NYC), Curator's Office (DC), and TAG Gallery (Nashvile).
