Danny Bruce Campbell was born in Dumas, Arkansas. At an early age his passion was to draw and create. Upon graduating high school he entered the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff to major in Art Education. While at the University, he won scholarships and awards in art. He worked as a layout editor for the university newspaper, the Arkansawyer. He graduated Magna Cum Laude and was commissioned in the United States Army as a Transportation Officer in 1992. He left Arkansas and earned a MFA degree at Howard University in Washington, D.C. He is an artist and educator, and has a studio in Atlanta, GA.
