Nigel Conway works and lives in Santa Fe, NM.  He spends time with each painting manually layering and removing surfaces of plaster, resin, varnish, giving his paintings rich textures and layers. He sketches mostly with pastels and inks, creating a foundation for the subjects of his work to function in their realms of reality.
