Kiki, a native of Eastern France, began over 50 years of restaurant experience in Europe at places like La Closerie des Lilas in Paris, well known for its famous clients such as Ernest Hemingway.

He came to Chicago as the sommelier of Maxim's de Chicago and later opened his own restaurant, Le Bordeaux on Madison Street.  His present restaurant, Kiki's Bistro, continues his tradition of terrific french food in a charming bistro setting.
