Make the move from iMovie to Final Cut Express. While not quite as feature rich as Final Cut Pro (which retails for $1299.00 as part of Final Cut Studio) this editing application offers most of the functionality of its big brother. Since the interface is identical to Final Cut Pro, when you're ready you can make the move up to the Pro version; shot logging, capturing, timeline editing, cut editing, trimming, inserting transitions, importing music, output to tape...it's all there!
The software package includes a tutorial DVD from Digital Film Tree and Boris Calligraphy plug-ins.

This is Macintosh only software. This is version 1.01 which means it will work on older systems (G3, G4 processors, Mac OSX 10.2 or later). It contains much of the functionality of the latest version.
