Description

An unforgettable one-night stay in the exquisite Designer Suite 630 (the Victorian Suite) featuring two bedrooms each with its own private bath. Please read the description below of this grand suite. Every evening starting at 10 o’clock, Le Pavillon hotel invites overnight guests in the lobby for the tradition of serving freshly made peanut butter and jelly sandwiches alongside ice cold milk and piping hot chocolate.

With a history stretching back to the Gilded Age and impeccable décor throughout, Le Pavillon New Orleans French Quarter Hotel piques the imagination in a way that even the emperor himself would applaud. The Hotel has been the proud recipient of AAA’s four-diamond award since 1996. Out of hundreds of eligible New Orleans Hotels, Le Pavillon Hotel was named to the "Gold List" by Conde Nast for 2005.
The Designer Victorian Suite 630: A Louisiana Plantation theme with antiques by famous New Orleans craftsmen, many of which have come from local homes, is truly a legacy of days gone by. This suite has two bedrooms, each with magnificent half tester beds, private baths and hardwood floors in the foyer and parlor. One of the beds was built circa 1855, and was made by a former slave by the name of C. Lee. This important piece pre-dates the Civil War and was designed to allow mosquito netting to completely protect the sleeping inhabitants. This particular bed is hand carved out of rosewood, which is a very rare and expensive wood. The hotel's original lobby chandelier from 1907 graces the parlor of this grand suite.
