A one-night accommodation for two at the Hassayampa Inn, chilled champagne and chocolates upon arrival, and a candlelight dinner, as well as breakfast for two served in the award-winning Peacock Dining Room.
In 1927, El Paso architect Henry Trost was challenged by local citizens to design a grand hotel that would become the cornerstone for downtown Prescott. After the foundation was laid, Trost was further challenged to modify the previously approved Pueblo Art Deco facade to a simple brick design, thereby creating the reigning grand dame of Prescott's historic district - The Hassayampa Inn. Since the day it opened its doors to those seeking respite in this mile-high mountain oasis, the Inn has been a sought-after retreat for travelers desiring attentive service in a charming and laid back environment. While the exterior was changed to sensible brick, the interior exudes warmth and cheer of the romantic southwest. Handpainted ceiling beams, wall murals, rich, glazed tiling, etched and stained glass windows and doors, attendant operated elevator, all combine to create an atmosphere that is both warm and inviting.
