In the striking, four-story atrium, touches such as intricate ironwork balconies and bridges, birdcage elevators, and wicker chairs accentuate the sunny space.  Named after two preceding hotels that met with untimely demises, the Tremont House reflects an ageless elegance that merges modern amenities and conveniences with classic hospitality.  The original 1839 Tremont House burned down in 1865, and the 1872 version was razed in 1928.
