Description

"A Farewell Salute" is an heirloom doll created in tribute to John F. Kennedy, Jr. and captures the unforgettable moment when the 3-year-old son of President Johon F. Kennedy stepped forward from his mother's side to bid a final farewell to his father.  Sculped by acclaimed doll artist Elke Hutchens, the doll's head, lower arms and legs are crafted of fine porcelain and his face features are painted by hand.  The doll is dressed in a pale blue coat with velvet collar, matching shorts and red faux-leather shoes.  Doll was offered by The Danbury Mint.
